Please join us this Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 7:30 PM in the Forum at Central Bucks High School South for the May meeting of the CB South Football Parents Club. Coach Szarko is unable to attend the May meeting, but he has provided information being presented regarding various football camps available this summer.

On Thursday, May 28th, immediately after school, spirit pack and fundraiser cards will be distributed from the fieldhouse at the stadium.  Players from Tamanend & Unami please arrange transportation to South.  Distribution will begin at 3:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm.  Please bring a check for $240 ($150 for fundraiser cards & $90 for spirit pack) made payable to ‘CB South Student Activities-football’.  The spirit pack consists of an Under Armour hooded sweatshirt, 2 t-shirts and a pair of mesh shorts.  All items will have the 2009 CB South Football logo silk screened on them.  Each player will be given 25 $10 fundraiser cards.  If you sell all 25, you will actually net a $100 profit (which could be used to cover the cost of the spirit pack).  The player keeps all proceeds from the sale of the cards.  Additional cards are available for purchase at the rate of $25 for 10 cards.  This will allow players to earn additional money ($75 for each 10 sold)to cover any other costs associated with playing football, if they so choose.  Alternate payment programs can be arranged for those who need it.  Please see Coach Szarko.

Tuesday January 20, 2009 will be the first meeting of the CB South Football Parents Club. The primary objective of this meeting is the election of Sr. Class Co-President, Jr. Class Co-Presidents, a Secretary, and a Treasurer for the 2009 season as specified in the bylaws. Sophomore Class Co-Presidents will be selected by these elected officers in the spring as defined in the bylaws. Please plan to attend to cast your vote.
 
To date there are several nominees for these positions, most having served as officers last year, but the positions are open to self nomination by any parent of a CB South Football player. If you wish to be entered as a nominee for any of these positions, please reply to this email with your name and the position you wish to be considered for.
 
Nominees for Sr. Class Co-President are Ted Davis and Alex Hamilton, both having served last year as Jr Class Co-Presidents. Nominees for Jr. Class Co-President are Jackie Braccia and ClairAnita Szatmary, both having served last year as Soph Class Co-Presidents. Nominated for Treasure is TR Johns who served in that capacity last year and nominee for Secretary is Donna Eisemann.
 
This email will serve as notice that the election will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 providing the minimum 10 day notification as specified in the bylaws. The meeting will be held in the Forum at CB South High School. The Forum will be available starting at 6:30PM and the meeting will commence promptly at 7:00PM.

This weeks senior dinner will be held at Webbie's, 235 W. Butler, Chalfont, PA - 215.822.9240 hosted by the Hulton, Yang, and Taing families.  Dinner is from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.  Players should try to be on time however "fashionably late" will be tolerated.
 
Due to other ghost and goblin activities, the post game social and meal has been cancelled for this week.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2008:
 
 
Just back from the game - the Titans posted a 35-20 win over Norristown! This webmaster is not a sports writer nonetheless feels compelled to share that upon arrival at the game in the 2nd quarter (yes, 2nd quarter - dinner, traffic, blah, blah, blah) the Titans held a slight edge over Norristown with a 21-20 score. 
 
The Titans came out strong in the second half, offensively and defensively, holding Norristown to its first-half 20 points.  Great game - hopefully you'll catch the highlights on The Big Ticket or in the newspaper tomorrow.  Good night!

Exciting News: Tomorrow's game is the 6abc.com Game of the Week and it will be broadcast live on 6abc.com.The game will also be rebroadcast Saturday night on the ABC digital cable channel, then archived on 6abc.com. Plus, there will be extended highlights of the game Saturday night on 6abc on High School Huddle, the new high school football television show hosted by Walter Perez.  And, that's not all - preview videos of practices and interviews are up and running right now on the 6abc.com website. 
 
Also, the producer from 6abc is looking for anybody associated with the parents club or a "fan of the Titans" , known to the parents club, who would like to do commentary (one or two people),  for this Friday night's game to be aired LIVE on 6abc.com.Commentator candidates must be as bi-partisan and conduct appropriate as possible.  Contact the webmaster immediately to be considered!
